Charcoal Chicken Pop Up - 2 October 2021

So here’s a story… our little venue was due to open this week. We’ve been working hard to get everything ready so we can start cooking and serving you in a Covid-safe way. Then, on what was supposed to be our last day of the build, the city was overtaken by rioters leading to the construction shutdown. So we’ve had to down tools, and postpone things for a couple of weeks.

But there is good news! Because we’re itching to start slinging food, we’ve teamed up with our pals at @hopestradio for a special one day Mauritian barbecue feast.

Takeaway Pop Up @ Hope St Radio, Collingwood

½ a Bannockburn free range chook, grilled over charcoal. Served with:
- our cumin & turmeric masala sauce
- fried onion rice
- cucumber & green chilli salad
